One more note**** the golden rule in windows backup the reg file b/4 you play with 
it..
If you did you can get it back with the ERD disk you made and then restore.it......
If you didn't make one and you can't get back into the system you will need to run 
the Repair on the win2k cd to get it to reload..
Boot with the win2k cd and select the item called SETUP it will ask you if you want 
to try and repair the OS you now have on the machine select YES.
It will rework the reg file so it can boot..
It will NOT overwrite your data files but it will put down new OS files...
You may need to reinstall some programs so they can run aging but that's a small 
price to pay...
When you get back in and have updated your programs run the backup item in win2k 
and make a ERD disk and backup your STATE files so you don't need to do this again...
