2000 reformat problem Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 7:17 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Tracy H (13 messages posted) I'm trying to reinstall 2000 pro but can't seem to boot from the cd. I went into Setup and set the Boot Sequence to start from the CD-rom, put the cd in and restarted. Now I get a message saying "strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility." If I hit F1, the same message repeats. If I hit F2, I'm back in Setup. Can anyone advise me how to proceed here? I'd really appreciate the help.
