"File \i386\biosinfo.inf could not be loaded"
1st thing you want to do is make sure the file is on the cd and the file is Not corrupt.
CD's do get damage.
You can use Winzip to exract the file just to check on it..
When you find the file and winzip can exract it to a temp folder you should be good
to go..
You can use ths workaround if you want.

Laptops can be nasty to setup and install OS on ..
Most come with Recovery CD because most of the Laptops have very proprietary hardware.
Some need to use a boot disk(driver disk) from the Mfg.to load the BIOS setting..
You can get a boot disk/driver disk from this site on ebay.

I used Bob's software all the time and it works every time.
NOTE****
Did you make a backup copy of your win2k cd,if so give it a try or ask a mate if
you can use his and use your product ID to install it on your machine.
This may or may not work, but it may be worth a try if your cd is bad.

Good Luck
