When you boot up and you see the boot menu, do both items listed start and run win2k..?
Or just when you select just one of them. ?

Make note of whitch one starts win2k the 1st or the 2nd line listed..
If it's the 2nd one ,that's the one you want to keep in the boot.ini file.

Let win2k do the work for you.
Right click on MyComputer/Prop./Advanced Folder/Startup and Recover Button at the
top you will see Default OS item click on the down arrow, select the 2nd one then
the OK button.
Then reboot, you will Not see the boot menu asking you to select one of them.
It will default to the one you selected.

NOTE****this files boots win2k so do it right the 1st time.

OR you can edit or view the boot.ini file with NotePad.
Note **** If you are 100% sure you only install one win2k edit the boot.ini file
and remove 1st or 2nd line pointing to windows 2000
This file is hidden/ read only file.
