(Error Code 4)= Update the drivers for this device.

You may have the drivers on the cd disk that came with the HD if not goto Maxtor 
and get them.

You may need to hit the F6 key when you install win2k.

Did you use the win2k cd to format the HD ?
If not you may want to start over and let win2k do the work for you.
Any thing over 160gb windows needs to be told about it.

Or you can download the winME boot disks from bootdisk.com and the new FDISK will 
see and format the 200gb. HD upto 2 T.B. if you want to use the fat32 for your system. 
you can always covert it over to NTFS if you want with a one line command.
