"several computers",more than 10 ?
All computers that access the internet have a IP address.
Do a ipconfig /all and see what comes back.
--------------------
You may also want to run Netdiag from the cmd (DOS window)..
You may not have it on your machine But you can get it from MS ,it's free
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AAE64B62-27C0-4523-8AF9-66A968A8C942&displaylang=en
download it and then install it
to ********* C:\>iptools *********
from the dos window type cd C:\>iptools
and then type the command netdiag
it's like ipconfig but with more info and tools..
to check your system.
to see a list of commands type netdiag /?
