Server 2000 config question Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 4:34 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Alex01 (423 messages posted) I am trying to configure server 2000 as the only server on the network but i get the following message: 'Because one or more other servers already exist, you cannot configure this server as the only server on the network. For more information, contact your system administrator.' There is no other server on the network. the computer is on a network going through a Belkin router. Other machine on network are XP Home and Pro. Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing Server to think another server is present? TIA There are presently no replies to this message.
