No sound except CD Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 1:31 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike Pawka (11 messages posted) I recently upgraded the driver for my sound card (Realtek AC'97). Now only the CD player puts out sound. Uninstalled the device with the hardware manager and installed the original driver, still no sound except CD.
