At this point tell windows to look in the c:\soundtemp folder for the drivers it's looking for. If the drivers are right for win2k it will install them and you should have full sound for the machine. If win2k hangs or ask you for a new item that's not in the soundtemp folder then the drivers are NOT the right ones. Then regroup and go get the right ones. You can use this tool to tell you what sound device you have on the machine make and model number and ver.
