It comes down to the right driver for win2k.
Download the one below and give it a try.
It's for ALL of them (3MB file)

Logon=drivers Pass=all
Windows will read the inf file(s) and if's it finds the right one win2k will install
it...
Just a note***do you still have the box/CD disk that came with the Acer you may
want to run it down and use it.
