re: Win2k not showing monitor in device manager Monday, September 26, 2005 at 8:39 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Robert Kidd (8 messages posted) Well, I downloaded the zip file, unpacked it to a folder on the desktop, started the Add/Remove hardware process and got to the file ACER2000 and thought I got luck (with your help) but I still get the same error "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware." There is still no "Display device" or "monitor" in the devices list. I have even gone so far as to reinstall the OS (twice).
