Hi all.
I have the same probleme.I had this same issue 3 years ago, manage to sort things
out but can't rember how...At this time I had a 4200ti. Now I have an asus 6800 GE,
winxp, asus A7n8x deluxe motherboard....There is how I got that pb:I had an issue
with my video card running with Smart doctor . My commputer kept rebooting. I had
to uninstall smart doctor. This pb was fixed. I decided to reinstall nvidia driver.
So I went into control panel, add/remove programm and uninstall nvidia driver......but
I think I also unstall nvidia nforce2 utilities (that came with motherboard).....I
rebooted, went into devie manager to updated driver. I realize that no display driver
was listed. So I add/removed hardware, choose display driver, browse to the location
of my my driver (78.1 and/or 77.). But when I locate the driver. I see the .inf file,
press ok, I then the name of my video card doen t appears, the windows is blank,
so I can't choose the model and can't press the "next" button that is grayed out......I
suspect a pb with motherboard driver. Try to rinstall them, but no go. Tried to reinstall
my old 4200ti, same pb....
Any Ideas??
