Please revisit your post so that others on this forum will know if the solutions
were helpful or not helpful ........
Many people by pass the setup at install by just using the enter key, win2k will
take this as a password but in time the machine will fail with this type of password.
The SAM file will look at the enter key as a password and will kick it out.
win2k High Security thing.
I think she said a USER password, many do the same for the user password as well
but she can try and enter the PC by typing Admin. then hit enter key that may let
her in but it's a real long shot.
BUT she can't check it without logon on.
The IE will not control any part of the win2k logon passwords that's the win2k OS
job (SAM file)
