i had many problems with MS Photo Editor in the past. i was able to solve some through
this forum by using "regedt32" to change permissions to allow full control of MS
Photo Editor. i don't remember the path to use to be able to change the permissions,
but it doesn't matter anymore. i use irfan view now, and you probably should, too.
with Photo Editor you can't even scroll through the multiple images in the directory.
plus irfan view is free.
