Someone told me earlier today that McAfee and Symantec anti-virus software are incompatible on the same PC. So, I went to the registry and deleted anything to with McAfee. I managed to re-boot my PC once I did that. Thanks for the reply. Now, whenever I try to start MS Office or any MS product, including Internet Explorer, a Windows installer prompt pops up. I'm trying to figure out why that's happening now.
