sounds like the HD is bad or going bad,,,the 4 setup disk will not help...and it
sounds like the win2k cd will not help as well...
The files from the cd and the setup disks are put into a ram drive but the autochk.exe
needs to be on the HD...and if you are getting "inaccesible_boot_device". it's telling
you it can see it...or use it..(the HD)
If you are using a fat32 setup on your HD you can download a win98se boot disk (from
bootdisk.com) and check the HD but if you are use the NTFS system ,well it maybe
time to replace the HD and reinstall...
The new HD are cheap now days...
