If you cannot find any malware, you may be in for a long search.

1. Start in safe mode and try Mastercam. If a CNC device is actually attached to 
that PC, you may get other errors (in safe mode), but note if the access violation 
disappears.

2. If the access violation does disappear, pull your internet cable out (disable). 
Run msconfig and remove (uncheck) all startup items. If, on restart, the violation 
re-appears, you need to look through the processes (msconfig) for any anti-malware 
applications. Remove them also.

3. If, on restart, the violation is still there, you may need to go through the Windows 
Updates. Remove the most recent, a few at a time, until you find the one causing 
the problem. I would wait at least a few days for a reply from the malware forum 
before taking this time-consuming step.

NOTE: If the access violation does not disappear in step one, my guess would be the 
memory.
