Ho'okani,
By the time you wrote the third in your trilogy of problems you should have suspected
you have one BIG problem rather than three individual ones all happening at the same
time.
Try Jim O'Calaghan's advice about doing a complete reinstall first. If that doesn't
fix things you have a hardware problem.
Worst case scenario is that your motherboard is failing.
If you are lucky it is only your power supply that is failing and it no longer supplies
adequate power to the motherboard for it to function properly but isn't quite dead
yet. I say "lucky" because second hand power supplies are relatively cheap and are
less of a hassle to install than swapping out motherboards. You only have to make
sure you get the right type for your system.
The only thing that doesn't seem to have gone wrong are blue screens and crashes.
