Will ICS allow me to share a Verizon IC over a Wireless Network?

I have a desktop PC (running Windows 2000) which accesses the internet via USB tether to a Blackberry (Verizon data plan). Can I use the ICS feature in Windows 2000 to share this internet connection wirelessly with my laptops (running XP)? If so, how would the setup differ from the standard instructions provided by this site? I have a wireless router which I can connect to my desktop PC via ethernet cable. The router has one incoming ethernet connection and 4 outgoing. To which ethernet connection would I connect the cable from my desktop PC? My goal is to have a wireless home network to access the internet, and share a printer through the desktop PC.
