PC Freezes when moving files Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 2:56 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by blk4bte4 (4 messages posted) For a week now I have had the problem of the PC frezzes when I either copy or move files from 1 partition to another. The cpu goes up to 100% while moving or copying the file and stays that way until it freezes. Everything else appears to run normally including watching a video or converting a file. etc. Any ideas on what might be causing this?
