Using Ethernet Bridge 2.0 for Windows 2000
This is a small utility (driver and GUI configuration tool) for MAC level bridging TCPIP bound network interfaces (based on NDIS-hooking technology for Windows 2000/XP/2003). It can be used, an example, with OpenVPN in its bridging mode, especially with the server-end running on a Windows 2000

Read the article over. This is a quick easy way to overcome the problem with the IP address Windows 2000 always wants to use for ICS.
I believe this is the utility I found. You can to start every time you boot you windows 2000 computer. It is a ZIP file. so you will need a free unzip program. Lots of those around.Google unzip.
