File associations not being saved Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2:48 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Paul Kruger (21 messages posted) I have some file associations that stopped working, such as .html, .htm, .swf etc. I have reset them in the folder options / file types but they are not being saved. When I click on those files, it just warns me there is no program associated with that file type. Nothing I do will result in them being remembered and I have to constantly use the "open with" option which is annoying. Does not seem to have affected all associations however. Any ideas welcome !
