I did a recovery from Win2K install disk. I reset the .html and .htm file extensions to default and when I click the they open in IE. When I go back to edit those in the Folder Settings /File associations window and change them to open with Firefox they won't open. I still get the error that there is no program associated with that file type. There is...it is lying to me! The icon for that file type is even changed to the Firefox icon so how would the icon change if Windows was not locating the Firefox directory when I changed associations? When I look again in the setup for that file type it shows that Firefox.exe is set. What gives?
