Missing eject icon Friday, October 30, 2009 at 9:17 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jack Gao (1 messages posted) After plugging a 300 GB Western digital USB portable hard drive into a USB port there is no eject icon and following instructions to go to add remove hardware the USB does not show up in the window. A smaller USB flash drive is recognized and the eject icon shows up in the sys tray. As back ground, I had someone tweak the registry in order for W2000 to recognize the full 300 GB. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
