I did a search on this but none of the posts seem to help me. it does go into "standby"
tho..is that ok to keep it in that mod..any wear and tear on the hd?? thanks.Robert

Jacob thanks for the tip I bookmarked that page. I am, ok now.left it in safe mode
for awhile then did regular restart and came back ok..do i close this post now? dont
want to bother other posters..thanks. again..Robert

Just posting a resolution is good enough, thanks.
If it simply resolved itself it was probably a heat problem from dust buildup. Search
"cleaning inside the pc" for safety precautions.
