Display Properties window reverted to Win98

A while back I noticed my Display Properties window was the old "win98" style. I
have done everything I can think of from replacing the desk.cpl to copying DLL's
from an identical system that is working correctly and still can not get the Win2000
display properties window to appear correctly.
The tabs I have in my display window are:
Background (2 column, PATTERN on left, Wallpaper on right) - This is a win98 style
tab.
Screen Saver
Appearance
Effects
Settings
Tabs I should have:
Background (single column with "select a background picture") - Win2000 style
Screen Saver
Appearance
Web
Effects Settings.
In essence, my background tab is wrong, and I have no "Web" tab.
Any ideas on what dll or cpl or anything that might control the display properties
window so I can get it back to the win2000 style?

Nope, reinistalled video driver and still have the wrong version of display properties.
I think it's a windows issue with a dll, ocx or other system file but I have replaced
just about everyone I could find.
Any other ideas besides reinstalling video driver, checking group policy and the
registry for "hidden" or corrupt tabs?

If you have the Windows 2000 program, you could use the System File checker to check
out you files, if there are any that are corrupt or missing, they will be replaced.
You could always do a repair with the Windows 2000 cd.

I tried the win2000 repair and still no luck.
I suppose this is something that I will have to live with, it isn't really impacting
anything, just a pain that it isn't "right".
Thanks everyone for the advice.
