I cloned my hard drive using Maxblast but the newdrive gave an error "missing ntloader."
I boot up with the Win2000CD, but how do I use the "console" to repair my installation?
I was not able to create an ERD because ny floppy drive is broken. I want all my
programs so I do not want to run setup. Thanks.

You may want to use Ghost, it will clone the drive right. http://www.symantec.com/norton/ghost ========

I agree with the other post, you should make a backup or 'clone' before anything.
Later, at the recovery console you can say 'help' (no quotes) and get a list of commands. While at the recovery console you might try twp commands:

fixmbr
fixboot

.. if all goes well, type 'exit' (no quotes) and restart the system.

I should note you can install the recovery console from the w2k cd, and it will be listed at reboot in the load up menu. The recovery console is a Advance tool, read all about in the HELP in win2k.. Like many items in win2k you must set it up for the Admin. so you can use the tool...at reboot....enable many items and if you don't it's just one more program from M$. It's a very strong program it will let rename, copy, move del.,etc. from the recovery console...it's almost like many of the DOS commands but under the NT format... =======
