I am using win2kpro connected to a westel A90 dsl modem. the modem does not filter content by keyword. I need to block my space,and all im services. is there a way to filter content by keyword on win2k.

No..  Not the operating systems job to do this..  You need a program such as Net 
Nanny to do what you want securely with resistance to being defeated.  IE controls 
and blocking won't help either for blocking messengers etc, but will block some content 
and websites.  It still isn't as effective as a dedicated program for security...

I use OpenDNS, and I just tried blocking myspace, and other social Networking Sites, 
and it worked. It's free to use but has a small learning curve to setup and use.
