After trying different tools on microsoft site i was finally able to figure this out. below is the procedure to migarate profile from 2000 to 2003. On a Note: USMT doesnt really work if you have over 10 profiles. 1. Backup documents and setting folder using windows backup 2. Open regedit, and export two keys a) profile list and b) profile guid. 3. restore the backup into a new server and import both registry keys and you are all set, this will transfer all settings i.e printers, outlook, shares and etc.
