A couple of questions to clarify your problem.

Is DNS installed on all your DCs and replicated around?
Have you checked it replicates properly?

How does your client get it's IP and DNS settings (DHCP or manual? Point to each 
DC if it has DNS installed or to central DNS server?) 
Have you setup sites and services for each site and DNS server?
Can you not ping the FQDN for the domain or any host on the domain, or just not ping 
the hostname?
