Hi, in one of our Win2k3 network setups Autodesk mechanical is installed on several clients and all users have to be set as administrator to use it but only at client level, this is because the licence (there is only one full licence) is designed so it can be transferred between client machines (they use a simple USB mem stick do this). There is code in Autodesk as with all licensed software that checks strict license conditions once it starts. It appears that Autodesk has lost a lot of business through piracy so have tightened things up a bit. No need to give them admin accounts on the server though unless it’s a Network version installed on the server.
