\\(server name)\profiles$\(username)
Ok, this is your first problem: profile$ The "$" denotes an administrative
share which does not allow regular users to access the shares. They would have
to be members of the administrators group to be able to acces, and/or, write to the
shares. Kill those folders, recreate them without the $. This is how it should
look: \\server\shared folder\user.
