Hello, I am using server 2003 just to manage a few computers. The other week something was deleted that shouldn't have been and when I try to use any kind of data recovery software that scans your system for recoverable data, the server automatically shutsdown. It seems like there is some kind of security breach that the system has in place but I do not know where to change it. It is like when a certain file (or registry entry) is trying to be scanned it will shutdown. Can anyone help me?
