This is pretty typical for McAfee. Glad you figured that out. I don't have any
other advice as to why this isn't working though. I don't remember the beginning
of the thread anymore, have you tried updating video drivers or tried a different
video card temporarily, to see if it is a driver issue?
It just sounds like the screen is being reinitialized over and over again. Do, you
notice any unusual flashing or blanking of the screen quite regularly?
