You make a good point about about the other service being dependent upon the one single service. When that one service fails the others shutdown. However, the service is crashing, not being stopped, most likely. This event will be found in the event log, and that is where you start your investigation. Go from there to solve your problem. The event will tell you that the service has shutdown unexpectedly and tell you why.
