First, I'd like to thank you all for your site! Awesome reads and I learned quite
a bit already.
Here's my issue.
The skinny:
Sm company running SBS 2003r2 with all updates
4 nodes running xp sp3
All have typical setups (running the ConnectComputer...etc.) I did the normal setup
on the server as well (running the wizards)
I'm not certified, but probably certifiable. I'm new to SBS and servers in general.
Here's my problem: The network and all computers working great. Then, last Thursday,
one user can log into the domain, but when he wants to get to the "companyweb" it
is requesting he log in again with his ID/PW once he does, it's all fine. But everytime
he opens the "companyweb" it will request him to log in. Even tho he's on the domain
and he can surf the www, but not the company site nor any other documents therein.
(unless at the popup, he reenters his id/pw)
This had happened once before and because the user had let his password expire, and
I just reset password. It worked.
I checked to see if this user is allowed to be in the website on other machines,
and it is so. (of course, after the user logs in using credientials.)
Also, when I checked the machine I noticed that the user had admin rights. I decided
to log in this machine with a "dummy" account and it worked just fine with "user"
rights.
This time, it's not working and I'm at my wits end. I'd really appreciate any suggestions
and help.
Thank you so much for your help.
