hello, i have XP sp2 installed and i installed VPC 2007 to install win2003 as a guest OS. everything is fine and both machines are working fine with internet access. i use router to access in which i have disabled dynamic IP. both machines have manual IP within in same subnet the problem is that both can ping each other but cant access via windows explorer or IE. im going nuts and cant find a way out to sort this issue. 1. how can i enable both machines to access each other in a simple way? 2. pls tell me in simple steps how to configure DNS in win2003; if this is going to help 3. if i install DNS in win2003 and add XP to the domain then will it work? kindly help thanks,
