I just got the same problem with my Intel SLI system with two 7900GTX cards. It only
started when I downloaded the latest nvidia drivers (93.71) Disabling directdraw
seems to be the only solution currently

Found a solution. I went into the nvidia control panel -> Color correction. Apply
color changes to ALL. Selected advanced mode and then restored defaults. Worked like
a charm !

Seems I did something else to fix problem. I also went into VIDEO & TELEVISION settings
and adjusted video settings. Under enhancements and Optimize video playback, choose
PAL or NTSC based on your video type.

Okay my friend the answer that should work is too download and install Riva Tuner
2.0. Then enter the program and scroll down to ForceWare settings. From there Find
the option return Dx settings to Default and reboot your computer. Problem soved!

On Windows Vista, there is no such option . I have a 8600 GTS and NVidia COntrol
Panel does not have Color Correction anymore (driver version 158.24).
What options do I have to change this red color during playback?
