One of my processors is shot, so I'm looking to upgrade to PIII Tualatin processors
in slockets.

According to everything i've been reading, I need a slocket that supports FC PGA2.
I have a pair that support FC PGA. They are Contender IIs. Using those with auto
voltage detection and with manual voltage both result a blank screen with no post.
The scsi raid card still turns on and checks its drives during this however. The
FC PGA2 slockets are hard to find/expensive. Am I forgetting anything? Would this
possibly work? Should I look to buy the FC PGA2 slockets? Would the VRM counter the
attempts to modify the voltage made by the slocket adapter? If anyone needs any documents
on the server, just ask, I have a few pdfs.

I'm new to the server world and I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

Unfortunately, you posted in an entirely inappropriate forum for your problem.. Nothing you stated, or asked has anything to do with Windows Server 2003. Please consult a hardware forum.
