Ray, You weren't meant to work in Outlook's Safe Mode, just to open it once and close it again - that process often fixes the issue you were having !! Anyway, the location of your outlook.pst file is easy to find: Open Outlook Tools Options Mail setup tab Data files button . . . and there it is. You'll have to fiddle around in the tiny window to see the full path. Or, possibly easier to see: Right click on Personal Folders in the LH navigation pane and select Properties for "Personal folders" Advanced button . . . and there is the full path to your outlook.pst file Do let me know where you found it ! Its a useful file (eg its the file to backup to save all your Outlook contents and settings), you may care to read these references: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291636
