When you boot with a boot disk to the A:\ prompt, all bootdisks move the drive letter.
Some to "E" or something further down. Which letter shows ? You said you had 2 options
in bios. A,C and A,C cdrom.
Did you try both. If you made the changes in bios, did you save the changes before
exiting. Else it will revert back.
