Uninstalled PC Doc Pro, can no longer access hyperlinks

Recently I uninstalled 'PC Doc Pro' which I had downloaded from Tucows.com. Immediately upon uninstalling, I noticed that I could no longer access most hyperlinks, especially from OE to IE. Yes, I've gone to 'tools' to internet options & reset...as well, I've tried running several files which were supposed to fix the problem. I've also been in touch with the software company for 'PC Doc Pro', who insists that this problem has nothing to do with uninstalling - yet, I had a problem in the past upon uninstalling their accelerator program. Has anyone else had this problem? Have a solution? I am unable to run anti-viral programs, etc. because of this problem.
