Write.exe Quit!

Sometime in the last week my write.exe quit working. It tries to execute(for a couple
seconds) then dies.
I've tried restoring it from my CAB files as well as getting a copy from the Inet--Nothing
helps.
I'm using win95B.
Any suggestions grately appreciated!
