Thank you. I'll look into that.
My experience was that Firefox crashed every day until I searched M$ft and that led
me to what MSVCRT.DLL was and that the new version was in SPEU.EXE and I downloaded
from them. Then Fx didn't crash anymore.
BTW, I have a 2003 copy of Win2K. But it installs 4 copies of MSVCRT.DLL in 2 obsolete
versions. Someone who had the job of setting up the Win2K discs did not get a memo.
