Hi Nikita:

"Internet Ready" in an advertisement for an older
laptop usually means the laptop has either a
telephone modem or an ethernet card (or both). 
Older laptops did not usually have "wireless"
built in, but often this could be added with a
plug-in PCMCIA card.
