If removing the battery did not clear the BIOS password then the jumpers won't either as all they really do is bypass/short out the battery to kill the contents of the CMOS/BIOS memory. In this case the only real way is to call Tech Support and see if they can/will help you clear it with some type of a software tool they may have in-hose as Hewlett-Packard does. George
