The hard drive has been reformated. Her name is on the floppy disks being used to install 95. The disks are not write protected and are extactly the way they came out of her cabinet. I'm sure it is a very early version of 95. She bought an IBM PS1 and then upgraded the op sys at some point. I'll try reformating the hard drive again and then doing the install again. Jenny
