I bought a genuine WinME last year of eBay for only £15. As you said, there are different versions of Windows 95. Version B and C are 11 years old, going off the date of the USB supplement kernel. If you have version B or C, I'd stick with that instead of Win98 SE because it's more stable due to not having an unstable IE rammed into its system.
