NTLDR missing error...on a Win98 Station! Friday, May 3, 2002 at 9:37 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by BCS (48 messages posted) This happens every semester and I can never figure out why: The students are learning about the what happens when the system is booted with a floppy disk in the drive. Most of them get the usual message, but several get the message: "NTLDR is missing..." Now, these are Win98 stations, NOT NT stations! The floppies are brand new. I don't get it.
