I haven't seen this problem discussed, but since it happens on both my computers, I think it must be common. I'm running Win98SE, and Windows Explorer often takes forever to delete or rename a file. It's hanging up for some reason, altho it seems to always do the task, even tho it takes about 2 full minutes just to rename or delete a file. Usually, it'll do it in a second or two, but often it gets in this mode where it slows way down. It's very frustrating, and slows my work down. What on earth could cause such strange behavior?
